Have no idea what you're talking about. From Jason from Sagudo. I don't really understand that text. Um, yeah. Jason, you're often a funny guy. Uh this text comes over. They could not afford to have Bouchard on Team Canada. Do you not see how many turnovers he makes? Why are you so blind to this? You sit in the press box every game and you watch him. You see, this texter neglects to realize that you have a bias because the guy's got the puck more than any other defenseman, and he was not good early in the series. But make no mistake, he is a special defender and he knows how to get Connor McDavid the puck when it matters. For 36 in oil country. Bob Stopper with you. Of course, you can text us at any time at the Yassie Fine Floors text line 780-451-8880. Top story for Legacy Heating and Cooling. Home no payments, no interest for a year. That's how you build a legacy. Legacy Heating and Cooling. Bobby and Steve and the team at Legacy. It's game six tonight. Do or die for the Edmonton Oilers. Let's go to the orders now. Audio Vault 4. Direct workwear. The Oilers now. Audio Vault is brought to you by Direct Workwear. In these tight budget times, direct workwear is the superhero your wallet deserves. Huge selection, low prices at Direct Workwear. And we're going to start with Chris Knoblock, Oilers head coach, on the Oilers' past experience maybe easing the pressure a bit. A high pressure game that it is an elimination game, but we've been in these before and games that are even more high pressure. And the calm and the easiness of our players is pretty remarkable that it's just as if it's another game. Obviously, it's not. There's a lot riding on it. But there's a lot of confidence. They feel good and they know what they have to do. All right. Now, the Oilers loaded up Connor McDavid and Leon Dreisaitl at home where they can control matchups with last change a little bit more. And Chris Knoblock, Oilers head coach, was asked about breaking up 29-97 given the strength of the play specifically of Dreisaitl in between Podkolzin and Kapanen. I think we'll be mixing up the lines, but I think we can play them together. There'll be times where they are together. But obviously, we have to be a little more conscious of their top line. Just when they're out there, making sure that we've got the next shift ready for that counter-strike. There we go. And one of the keys for Edmonton is stay out of the penalty box because Anaheim's power play is 8 for 16 in this series. I think it's important that everyone knows the stakes of the game and how important it is. It's a little bit different about the middle of the season. You've got a huge lead, but obviously staying out of the penalty box just because we've seen it in this series that it can change the projection of the way the game is going. Jack Roslevic, meanwhile, is yet to score in the playoffs. He's got one assist. He is even in five games. Has 18 points in 50 games in the playoffs in his career, but just three goals. He is a pending UFA. He's had multiple 20-goal seasons. He had these thoughts on the calmness of the Oilers right now. I'm new to the team as of this year, but you've seen it in the last two Stanley Cups. Just have that factor that you know that times aren't going to be easy. Regular season, especially come playoff time. So it's a group that is very tunnel vision and really focused on one goal. You know, the Oilers had an up and down campaign. They only had, what, one five-game winning streak all season long. Roslevic had these thoughts on the regular season struggles building the team for adversity. To be a consistent group, there's, you know, throughout the regular season, especially with having long seasons before. You know, I think it's, you know, great training or a great tool for us to kind of, like, knock back on and, you know, say, hey, you know, maybe it wasn't as consistent as we'd like, but, you know, come playoff time, we've learned a lot and, you know, really have figured it out when the backs are against the wall. The Edmonton Oilers have scored first in all five games so far in the series, yet they still trail in the series two games to three. Again, tonight is do or die. Now the Oilers had a great first in game five, scoring three goals in the first period. Zach Hyman got one of them. He had these thoughts on the importance of getting a good start tonight for the Oilers. Usually you score the first goal, you win. Hasn't been the case, obviously, entirely this series, but it's important to get out to a good start. It's important to get ahead, especially as the series goes on, games get tighter. Every goal is extremely important. And Hyman also had some additional perspectives on goaltender Connor Ingram and the Oilers team defense. I thought Ingo played great. It starts with the goaltending. He was solid. He was, you know, the last line of defense and he had to make a number of big saves, especially in the third. And then I think just his team just defending as a group, defending the rush better. They're very good off the rush and just defending as a five-man unit. We talked about him a little bit earlier on on the show today. He's playing 22.36 per game. Does not have a point in the series, but he is plus three. And I think this is the best nurse has looked for a while. Connor Murphy has played a factor on that. No question about it. Here is Darnell Nurse, who will play playoff game number 100 tonight on the Oilers needing a win. Do you believe in yourself? You know, I mean, our belief in our group never really changes depending on what's going on outside. It's always just been, you know, the result doesn't change our belief. You know, it's a big game, big game ahead. And obviously, the Ducks have been playing great all series. So it's going to take a big effort from us. And one of the things that the Oilers have had is lost leads, though they did not lose the lead in the last game. Here's Nurse. I think that, you know, we've lost leads in different ways. I don't know if there's so much as a common denominator between them all. But, you know, we play a simple game and, you know, take care of the shift ahead of us. I think, you know, we're not really worried about the past. We're not worried about what's coming. It's about taking care of today. And that's it. All right. There you go. Again, you can text us at 780-451-8880. This text comes in out of the 403. Bob, I miss Gene Principais' skits. I anticipate OT tonight or OR and awesome, awesome, awesome high-scoring game. Is there any duck on the menu at Japanese Village? I actually don't know. Because I don't have... Yeah. Anyways, there's definitely shrimp and there's definitely steak because I've had them both at Japanese Village. Connor could score and win with five goals to take the lead in the playoffs. I look forward to more Oilers broadcasts this playoff year. Well, I hope you're right. I hope we do get more playoff broadcasts this year. There we go. This text comes in from the Viking. Robert out of Viking. He says, Bob, Bouchard is a net liability for the Oilers. His greatest supporter is you. Bouchard is successful. Look who he plays with. McDavid and Dreisaitl. Oilers should sell or trade Evan Bouchard. It is amazing to me that we are still having these conversations. We still get these texts on Evan Bouchard. Bob, any insight into McDavid's injury? Was he injured prior to clattering into Ekholm? He blocked a shot against Colorado in the second last game of the year as well. Just for what it's worth. Again, you can text us. 780-451-8880. Bob, I just want to give credit where credit is due. Darnell Nurse had played great in the last game. Darnell Nurse has had... Is that correct? We got some breaking news out of the Middle East anyways. We'll see. Darnell Nurse has had a good couple games here. Cheddar from Hardesty says, Bob, tonight would be a great night to see Roslevic and Savoy have their best performances. We need more from them. That one comes to us from Cheddar out of Hardesty. Yes, there's no question. Edmonton could really use some more secondary scoring. Another texter says, Bob, look at Bouchard's plus minus. That's the story. Well, Bouchard in his playoff career is plus 11 in 80 games. 88 points. He's the second highest points per game in NHL playoff history. So, take it for what it's worth. He is minus four in this series. He's had a tough series to date. Again, keep texting us on the Ashley Fine Floors text line. 780-451-8880. Wow. What is going on with this? 780-451-8880. Bob, once some fans get something in their craw, nothing will change them. Way too much negativity in radio land. Well, I mean, you know, we basically had two local media guys chastise Bouchard for large stretches of his career
